Built around 1870 to guide ships into Presque Isle Harbor, the building has been totally renovated to preserve its original character and style. Renovations include: new roof, electrical wiring, insulation and heating system. Special attention to detail shows in the replicated windows and interior doors. Original hardwood flooring and staircase with mahagony bannisters are fully restored.
